Volunteer Solutions links potential volunteers with opportunities that match their interests, schedule and location preferences. Use of the Volunteer Solutions database is completely free of charge to potential volunteers and to the non-profit agencies listing their requests. Volunteer Solutions was started in 1997 by a group of MIT students and is now part of United Way of America. In late 2001, United Way of the Capital Area purchased this service for our region. The Points of Light Foundation and United Way of America hope to expand Volunteer Solutions throughout the United States.

You are now encouraged to take a few minutes to browse the opportunities. You can start by looking at the Manchester opportunities or you can design a search to your own specifications.

Volunteer Solutions is simple to use and allows you to save your own preferences and favorites if you choose to register. You are also welcome to explore any and all of the listings without registering.
